I’m Laura, a twentysomething progressive vegan with a love for writing and a passion to change the world.  Seattle is where I call home, and there I try to maintain a lifestyle which reflects my vision for a peaceful and sustainable future.  I have a deep love of nature, an enthusiasm for food and health, and a flair for the artistic.  I always welcome thoughtful discussions; I like to challenge and to be challenged.  Above all, I believe that change is born when dissatisfied people refuse to remain complacent with regard to the problems they see around them.

This blog is about my day-to-day attempt to make the world a different place, and about all of the others out there who are doing the same thing, revolutionizing the world one moment at a time.  Sometimes striving for change may seem futile or even foolish, but we have to remember that the outcries of a few passionate individuals can shake the foundations of the world.
